I got to finally feed and hold my baby!!
We stopped by the nicu at 9:00 pm and the nurse let me feed my baby Azalea for the first time. This is the first time I have ever been allowed to hold my daughter. Lots of pics! I look pretty good for someone who just had a 24 hour labor and c-section and is wearing no makeup:

Congratulations! Oh, what a darling little package you have on your arms... And yes, you DO look good to someone who has just gone through all that! It is such a once in a lifetime-feeling to hold your little one for the first time.

She's beautiful, and congratulations to you! I feel for you having to wait so long to hold your little one. My baby girl spent a bit of time in the NICU when she was born as well--but now she's nearly two and as healthy as a horse.
